From the stunning city of Zurich to the serene Lake Lugano, this meticulously planned itinerary promises an unforgettable Swiss adventure filled with opulent experiences, breathtaking vistas, and exquisite cuisine.

Day 1: Arrival in Zurich
Stacey’s Swiss adventure began in Zurich, where she was spent her first night at the opulent Hotel Alex Lake Zurich 5*, with breathtaking views of Lake Zurich. During the day, Stacey visited other iconic Zurich hotels: the Storchen and the Widder Hotel, which are sister propertied to the Hotel Alex. The Storchen and Widder properties had unique feels and were centrally located for all travelers on or near Lake Zurich and the Altstadt or Old Town. In the evening, a sumptuous dinner awaited her at the legendary Baur au Lac Hotel 5*, nestled in its own park with stunning views of Lake Zurich and the Alps.

Day 2: Zurich Exploration
Stacey began her day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, soaking in the serene atmosphere of Lake Zurich. Then, she embarked on a private transfer to Zurich Altstadt for a guided walking tour. Exploring the charming streets, visiting historical landmarks, and discovering the fusion of modernity and tradition that defined Zurich were highlights of her day. She also visited one of the only remining watchmakers in Zurich, Maurice de Mauriac, for a special behind the scenes tour with this family run business. In addition to watches, Switzerland is known for its chocolatiers, and Stacey was able to indulge in 2 of the finest: Sprüngli and Teuscher.

Day 2 continued: Journey to Andermatt
Checking out from her Zurich hotel, Stacey embarked on a private transfer to Andermatt, a charming, picturesque Alpine village that is also known for excellent skiing. Stacey arrived at the magnificent Chedi Andermatt 5*, and indulged in the largest indoor pool in Switzerland and their numerous saunas. Later that afternoon, she explored the village on a walking tour guided by a local expert learning all about the history of Andermatt and the surrounding region. In the evening, Stacey dined at The Chedi Andermatt 5* and experienced its culinary excellence.

Day 3: Andermatt to St. Moritz
After bidding farewell to Andermatt, Stacey continued her journey to the world-famous destination, St. Moritz. On her way, she took a funicular ride to Corvatsch Bergstation at 3303 meters above sea level where the ground was still covered in snow. She enjoyed lunch at the panoramic restaurant on the top of the mountain and whiskey tasting at ORMA whiskey distillery, the highest the highest single malt whisky distillery in the world,

From Corvatsch, Stacey continued her journey to the Grand Hotel Kronenhof 5* in Pontresina, a luxurious property nestled in the Swiss Alps. In the evening, a wonderful meal of traditional Raclette awaited Stacey in the hotel’s bowling alley.

Day 4: St. Moritz Exploration
After breakfast, Stacey embarked on a horse-drawn carriage ride around the picturesque St. Moritz Lake. She experienced the stunning alpine scenery as she relaxed in the carriage.

A surprise picnic lunch of traditional fare awaited Stacey with the beautiful backdrop of a small pond in the Swiss forest. After lunch, Stacey had some time to leisurely stroll through the streets of St. Moritz and window shop at the incredible luxury stores lining the streets.
Later that afternoon, she enjoyed a caviar tasting and story-telling session at Glattfelder, a renowned caviar specialist in town. Here, she learned about the history of caviar and savored this exquisite delicacy.

Day 5: Lake Lugano
After breakfast and check-out, Stacey departed for Lake Lugano. Her journey included a scenic ride on the Bernina Express, one of the most spectacular train journeys in the world. The scenery of the Alps on a blue sky day was breathtaking. After the train ride, she stopped to have lunch at Agriturismo La Fiorida, a small farm with a restaurant famous for the traditional dish of Pizzoccheri Valtellinesi. Upon arrival in Lugano, she embarked on an exclusive “Gozzo” boat tour on Lake Lugano, sipping Prosecco and enjoying the scenic beauty.

After the scenic boat ride, Stacey checked in at Aria Retreat & SPA 5*, and had a wonderful dinner at the hotel overlooking the beautiful Lake Lugano.

Day 6: Lugano to Lake Como
After enjoying some time in the indoor/outdoor pool with a magnificent lake view, Stacey checked out of the Aria hotel and made her way to Lake Maggiore, where she had some time to explore the lakefront village of Ascona, known for its Mediterranean-style architecture and cafe-lined promenade. She continued her journey to the Hilton Lake Como, where she enjoyed a lively dinner on the hotel’s rooftop.

Day 7: Lake Como
After walking the promenade along the lake front near Como, Stacey checked out of the hotel and enjoyed a picturesque boat tour of Lake Como. She was able to disembark and visit the Villa del Balbianello, a villa on the site of an old monastery that is now well known for its backdrop in movies such as Casino Royale and Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. She was also able to visit the village of Bellagio and see the other iconic homes on the lake. The boat journey concluded at the fabulous Grand Hotel Tremezzo, where Stacey had a wonderful lunch high above the lake. Her tour of Lake Como concluded at the incomparable Villa d’Este with its magnificent park-like grounds directly on Lake Como.

Day 8: Milan
Stacey departed the magnificent Villa d’Este and made her way to Milan. She toured the he Duomo of Milan and went to the roof for a panoramic view of the city. Stacey also visited the Galleria of Vittorio Emanuele II and spun 3 times around the legendary bull depicted in mosaic on the ground. Her tour of Milan concluded with a dinner food tour exploring some of the traditional dishes of this grand city.

Day 9: Return Home
After checking out of the beautiful Park Hyatt Milan, Stacey went to the Milan airport to begin her journey home.
