Kelly’s love of travel began when she participated in the Disney Approach to Service Excellence Internship program in Orlando, Florida. She has a passion for exploring new destinations. “I come from a small town so when I travel and explore new destinations; it truly revives me and gives me such an appreciation for this beautiful world. I also love building my relationships with my travel industry contacts while I am abroad to better serve my clients when they visit.”
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Northern Illinois University and has been with Royal Travel & Tours for 14 years. Kelly enjoys sharing her passion for travel with her spouse and young children every chance she gets. “I believe travel is incredibly important for children to experience as well. It opens their eyes to how other people live, possibilities and creates beautiful memories.”
My Insider Travel Tip
For long, overnight flights, I recommend preparing as much as possible to try to rest up (hopefully sleep!) on your way to your destination. Avoid any coffee or alcohol for the whole day. Do your evening bedtime routine as much as you can. (Take off your make-up, brush your teeth, change into comfy clothes.) When you are close to arriving; freshen up as you would in the morning. Grab a cup of coffee when you arrive and begin your day touring!
