Growing up in a small town in the Midwest, Katie was always dreaming about places to go! Katie graduated from The University of Iowa with a degree in Journalism and Communication Studies. While there, she took a trip to Peru where she hiked Macchu Pichu. It was this once-in-a-lifetime experience that cemented Katie’s love of travel.

Prior to joining Royal Travel, Katie spent 22 years at Paramount, formerly known as MTV Networks, in media and marketing. She loved entertaining and traveling with her clients to big events like VMA’s, Movie Awards, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards and CMT Music Awards. It was the best combination of work, as she was able to travel and create amazing experiences for her clients. Katie’s attention to detail, research capabilities, access to local knowledge, and prior client experience creates an unforgettable trip for her clients.

When not travel planning, Katie is busy traveling internationally with her two teenage girls for field hockey. When back in Northbrook, IL, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking her Australian Labradoodle Aspen, playing paddle, and golf. Some of Katie’s favorite family vacations and travel knowledge include epic ski trips, Switzerland, Costa Rica, safaris in South Africa, wine country, and the Caribbean.
